This workshop takes you step by step through the process of defining user requirements, customizing navigation, creating and using managed metadata, customizing the search box, creating custom search pages, and customizing the search results summary.
Using texts, examples, supervised activities, and an online Lab area, you'll create a controlled vocabulary, thesaurus, A - Z index, and topic hierarchy and see how they are used in a pilot SharePoint site.
